The foundation of our vision is the convergence of technology and world commerce. We utilize technology to bring positive economic impacts to global artisans while providing significant value to our customers.
Ridgeline Artisans products are hand-crafted, artisan designed jewelry from around the world. These products are chosen for their beauty, authenticity, and value to the consumer. Products that are created in the flavor of the local culture or are developed using traditional and cultural designs are preferred. Ridgeline Artisans is completely supportive of artisans receiving fair compensation and of safe working environments for the artisans.
The fundamental philosophy at Ridgeline Artisans is (as stated by Archbishop Desmond Tutu) that we must use our strengths on the behalf of others and not take advantage of anyone. Our purpose is to develop positive, mutually-beneficial business relationships with artisans and customers. We provide a service to our artisans by purchasing their products at fair value and allowing them to focus on their creative endeavors without needing to be concerned about sales channels. Through our work with artisans we strive to alleviate poverty by positively affecting the economic status of village-based artisan businesses in countries outside of the United States. At the same time, we always provide high quality, distinctive, hand-crafted jewelry at reasonable prices for our customers.
